One day at a time

There are two days in each week in which we should not worry. Two days should be kept free from fear and anxiety. One of these days is yesterday. Yesterday, with its mistakes and heartaches, its mistakes and confusion, their pains and sorrows. Yesterday has passed forever, beyond our control; and all the money in the world could not change a thing that we have done, nor can we delete a word. 
Yesterday already step.
The other day on which we should not worry about is tomorrow. Tomorrow, with its potential adversaries, their problems, their promises large and their small achievements. Morning you will return to the sun comes out, either in splendour or behind a mask of clouds, but will rise. Until we play no part in morning, as it has not yet been born. And there is only one day: TODAY
Any man can fight the battle of a single day. When we load with these horrifying Eternities, yesterday and tomorrow, we are overthrown. It is not today's experience what hurts men, but the bitter guilt, something which happened yesterday and the fear of what the morrow would bring. We live because, just one day at a time, and let us come boldly to God everything else.
